Youspeed.net is a free, fast and accurate internet speed test that measures the real performance of your connection in seconds. Founded with the mission of giving every internet user a transparent and reliable way to check their connection, Youspeed measures four key metrics: download speed, upload speed, ping (latency) and jitter — all displayed in a clean, animated speedometer interface.
Unlike many speed test tools that report only an average value, Youspeed captures the true peak speed your connection can sustain, giving you a more honest picture of what your ISP is actually delivering. Measurements are performed against Cloudflare's global anycast network, which has points of presence in over 300 cities worldwide. This means no matter where you are — Mexico, the United States, Europe or Asia — you are always testing against a server that is geographically close to you, minimizing the distance your data has to travel and producing more accurate results.
Who is Youspeed for?
Youspeed is designed for everyone. Home users can verify whether they are getting the internet speeds they are paying for. Gamers and streamers can check their ping and jitter to ensure a stable, lag-free experience. Remote workers can confirm their connection is reliable enough for video calls and large file transfers. IT professionals and network technicians can use Youspeed as a quick diagnostic tool when troubleshooting connectivity issues or validating new installations. And ISPs and resellers can embed the free Youspeed widget on their own portals so their customers can test their speed with a single click.
Who builds Youspeed?
Youspeed is built and maintained by a small, independent team passionate about network transparency and open access to information. We believe every internet user deserves a free, honest and privacy-respecting tool to measure their connection — no registration, no installation, no hidden tracking, no paywall. The platform runs entirely in your browser, uses public Cloudflare endpoints for measurement, and stores only anonymous, aggregated statistics (ping, jitter, download, upload, country and ISP) to power the public historical trends dashboard.
